Channel 4 has launched its 4Now app, a brand new second screen companion app that is part of channel 4’s on-going Viewer Engagement Strategy. 4Now will also include exclusive content and a range of interactive experiences, including play-along games, designed to be enjoyed whilst watching specific TV programmes. 4Now is already being well received on iTunes.

Joe Fellows of Make Productions pitched the idea for the commercial to 4Creative and 4OD who were looking for an engaging way to advertise the new app. Head of marketing at 4OD, Tom Darlington, described the creative as ‘…a very elegant solution to what was a very tricky brief’ 

The Illustration and animation was created by Make Productions under the direction of 4Creative’s talented Dahlan Lassalle who helped develop the ‘i-Hands’ creative further and act as Channel 4 brand guardian.
