A dynamic title sequence for the current affairs show 18˚ North which is being produced by the Global Reporters for the Caribbean organization. We worked closely with the founder Zahra Burton who is an Emmy nominated broadcaster.
What we did
Make Productions developed a brand identity for the show including logo, colour palette and design concepts for a studio. The studio integrates with the title sequence for seamless junctions during broadcast. The name 18˚ North refers to the coordinates of Jamaica’s location and the simple compass emblem featured in the logo helps to convey this. The look of the titles had to evoke the colour and warmth of the Caribbean whilst remaining professional, knowledgable and forthright.
