Channel 4‘s 4Now app is a second screen companion app that is part of channel 4’s on-going Viewer Engagement Strategy. 4Now includes exclusive content and a range of interactive experiences, including play-along games, designed to be enjoyed whilst watching specific TV programmes. 4Now is downloadable from iTunes.
What we did
We pitched the idea for the commercial to 4Creative and 4OD who were looking for an engaging way to advertise the new app. Head of marketing at 4OD, Tom Darlington, described the creative as ‘…a very elegant solution to what was a very tricky brief’ We then designed the Illustrations and animated the spot using a mix of 2d and 3D animation.
