WWF‘s stunning and moving Christmas campaign TV commercial featuring Will Young singing a unique version of the Burt Bacharach classic What the World Needs Now. Will’s vocals accompanied by the awe-inspiring video highlights both the beauty and fragility of our planet – and the urgent need to protect it.
What we did
Make Productions had the honour of creating the animal animations in WWF‘s seasonal TV commercial. Using 2.5D Parallax we breathed life into WWF archive photos that was later projected onto a huge cinema screen in locations across the globe.
Also featured are previous 2.5D Parallax animations we created for Ad Hoc Films for earlier WWF campaigns that we showcased in our viral montage WWF Parallax Sequence. This innovative campaign created with Globe, Universal Music’s Creative & Commercial Partnerships division, aims to inspire the UK public and raise vital funds to support WWFs work to protect the natural world. We are also pleased that our very own Joe Fellows features in the fascinating behind the scenes film produced by Objekt films.
